The Pruimboom Institute & Alliance for Natural Health

are thrilled to bring you another world-class

Masterclass by Leo Pruimboom PhD
and Rob Verkerk PhD

Our understanding of the group of diseases we call cancer, and the mechanisms that cause or drive it, has progressed enormously over the last 50 years. Yet there is still no consensus over mechanisms. Mainstream oncological treatments continue to often fail and cause extensive collateral damage. Cancer now ranks as either the first or second leading cause of death in most industrialised countries.

Conventional oncologists remain sceptical about treatments that don’t involve the mainstay of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy and surgery. Natural treatments for cancer outside this orthodoxy are shunned, often due to a lack of knowledge, fear of failure, or concerns over the consequences of stepping outside established guidelines.

This masterclass by Leo Pruimboom PhD and Rob Verkerk PhD will bring you two different but interlinked perspectives.

Dr Pruimboom’s Drug-Free Cancer Approach introduces a new paradigm to both understanding cancer, as well as a toolbox of strategies that help support those afflicted by the disease, and how to prevent it. This is not an alternative or complementary model, but one rooted in science and a holistic, drug-free philosophy derived from CPNI and evolutionary biology and ecology.

Participants will gain insights into a range of innovative, drug-free interventions* and learn how to apply a "photo-film" methodology to help understand and address the underlying mechanisms driving the most common cancers. By the end of Dr Pruimboom’s masterclass, you will be equipped with new strategies that will offer hope and practical solutions to patients or clients with cancer, including those facing desperate circumstances, while also having a renewed toolbox to help prevent cancer in those who are otherwise susceptible to the disease.

Based on his many years of advisory role with the UK’s only integrative cancer charity, Yes To Life, Rob Verkerk PhD will present some of the latest insights from cancer research, including the diverse views on its origins and drivers. He will also offer new perspectives on the monitoring of cancer in patients. He will go on to unpack the medico-legal situation for the diverse range of medical, health and fitness practitioners working with individuals with cancer to help you practice confidently in the best interest of your patients or clients.

Key takeaways:

  • Gain insights into innovative, drug-free interventions
  • Learn how to apply a "photo-film" methodology to understand and address the underlying causes and drivers of common cancers
  • Develop new strategies to offer hope and practical solutions to patients with cancer
  • Acquire tools to help prevent cancer in susceptible individuals
  • Discover the latest insights on cancer theories and monitoring
  • Find out how to navigate the UK’s medico-legal landscape

    6 hours CPD.

The Alliance for Natural Health is a non-profit organisation with a mission to safeguard and promote natural and sustainable approaches to regenerating and managing human health worldwide. For over 20 years ANH-Intl has been instrumental in creating a world in which all individuals are able to enjoy their fundamental right and freedom to choose natural health. We help inspire and enable people to adopt natural and sustainable approaches to health care by promoting more diverse, natural and sustainable health choices, encouraging appropriate actions, evaluating and curating relevant research and providing education. The Pruimboom Institute, founded in 2023 by Dr Leo Pruimboom, provides world-class training to medical and health professionals in the field of clinical psychoneuroimmunology (CPNI). This translational medical discipline examines interconnected body systems and their relationship with psychological, social and ecological aspects of the patient’s life. The aim of the Pruimboom Institute is to incorporate this approach into healthcare to provide a more integrative overview of patients’ health. Dr Leo Pruimboom has over three decades experience developing and directing educational programs in CPNI. The CPNI International Master’s programme has been hosted by four different universities. Speakers

Dr Leo Pruimboom is a pioneer in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (CPNI), a translational medical discipline that studies the interaction between the neurological, endocrine, immune and metabolic systems, and their role in our health and wellbeing. A biochemist by training, he has dedicated his career to developing medical protocols that not only treat the symptoms of diseases, but also address their underlying physiological, social and ecological causes. Recognising a need to incorporate this integrative approach into medical practice, he founded the Pruimboom Institute in 2023 to provide training to medical and paramedical professionals. Dr Pruimboom is the creator of Intermittent Living: a series of practical strategies that rebalance health and promote wellness in the general population. He runs week-long immersive programs in natural surroundings that apply the principles of CPNI. He also founded the European Academy of Psychoneuroimmunology in 1996, and PNI Europe in 2014. He has combined his scientific research in the field with consultancy on its implementation in medical practice. He has treated thousands of patients from all over the world, integrating psychology, neurology and sociology among other disciplines. Dr Pruimboom is the author of three books, and has published several scientific papers in the field of clinical psychoneuroimmunology.

Over the last four decades working in non-profits, academia and as a consultant, Rob Verkerk has developed an intimate relationship with the tightropes that span between science and law, between academia and industry, between corporations, governments and the people — and not least — between our species’ internal and external environments. He has masters and doctorate degrees from Imperial College London, where he also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow for 7 years. Rob’s work has taken him to all the corners of the earth and his recognition of human co-dependence on nature, as well as the human propensity to exploit and destroy it, has helped him devote his life to finding better ways of working with, rather than against nature. Rob is firmly of the view that nature-based solutions hold the key to human and planetary sustainability. In 2002, Dr Verkerk founded the Alliance for Natural Health International (ANH-Intl) and has acted as its executive and scientific director since this time. He has directed legal actions to protect the right to natural health and has campaigned on diverse issues including against toxins in the food supply, in drinking water and in the environment, as well as against genetically modified foods, gene editing and transhumanism. He has been among the leading scientists exposing the distorted science during the COVID-19 crisis as well as in risk analysis as used by drug and food regulators. He is a recognised pioneer in the development of novel, scientifically rational risk-benefit assessment approaches as well as a new, sustainable model for community-based health regeneration. He is also the scientific director of the Alliance for Natural Health’s US office (www.anh-usa.org) and a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition. Dr Verkerk has authored some 60 papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings and contributes regularly to magazines and other popular media. He is an accomplished and inspirational speaker and communicator on a wide range of issues relating to challenges and solutions as they relate to scientific, medical, political, social and environmental aspects of healthcare, agriculture, human nutrition and the environment.
